Digital Portfolios Initiative

PDST welcomed 100 teachers and principals from 50 schools to our Formative Assessment using Digital Portfolio initiative this week. The initiative supports teachers in promoting formative-assessment practices in their schools and in understanding the potential of digital portfolios for supporting this.


Support for the initiative is based on PDST's sustained-support model which is a deeper form of teacher professional learning aimed at building internal school capacity, enabling schools to drive and embed change as independent communities of learners. The support is provided over a period of time, as part of a carefully-planned process, involving the school and teachersworking towards clear and agreed-upon goals.
